We want to pay for disadvantaged kids to camp and take part in other scouting activities.
About this cause
We provide opportunities for young people and adults from all backgrounds to come together and enjoy experiences that they would not otherwise be able to have. We lead activities that are both exciting and challenging to the appropriate age group. We help people build friendships that last a life time and empower young people to make a positive contribution to their community. Scouting provides a solid foundation for a healthy and fulfilling life. We camp, canoe, hike, travel, abseil, survival skills, cook, look after ourselves and each other. Amongst so many other things we have fun and love what we do.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Every child deserves the chance to have fun and experience good things as they grow up. The experiences we have when we are young shape us for the future. Scouting and the work that we do brings communities together. People who otherwise would not have met get to come together and form friendships and challenge themselves.
