About this cause
A Christian charity working with families in Berkshire. We offer play therapy, and therapeutic support to children, young people and families supporting their emotional needs. We also offer systemic work with families identifying issues and supporting families to work towards solutions. Our work is about individuals; showing people they matter, that everyone matters. The hope is to make a difference in someone's life; helping them see beyond their troubles. We provide emotional support to children, young people and families based on integrative therapeutic and creative approaches. As a preventative service, we step into the gap where families don’t meet thresholds for child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), but are struggling emotionally.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By targeting families dealing with traumas, and conflict within family relationships we hope to break generational patterns. We aim to build healthier, stronger family systems, building resilience and emotional well-being. Working with specific school locations we hope to impact multiple families within one community, creating support networks for families through local churches as well.
