We want to light up our gardens with low energy lighting to allow patients and families to enjoy the peace and space around the Hospice.
About this cause
Rotherham Hospice is an independent charity delivering care through a range of services to people affected by a terminal illness. Our care helps patients, their families, and carers achieve the very best quality of life and personal experience, both at home and in the Hospice. Rotherham Hospice needs around £5.7 million a year to provide our services free of charge to the people who need them. We receive some money from the NHS and the balance in the region of £2.7 million we raise from local community support, individuals, businesses and organisations in Rotherham.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The gardens a peaceful place away from the Hospice building and allow patients and families a place to think and to draw breath. We look after over 1800 people every year and their friends and family count in the thousands. Some will find the reflection space useful for their loved ones.
