1st Llangeitho Brownies

We want to open a new brownie pack in a rural area Llangeitho for all girls aged 7-10, and take them on Brownie Holiday in September 2018.
About this cause
We have just opened the 1st Llangeitho Brownies to help girls aged 7-10 within the local community. We provide a safe space for them to have a wide variety of experiences that they wouldn't otherwise have access to. Being a Brownie is an adventurous journey that girls take with their friends. Brownies enables girls to have incredible experiences together, make brilliant friends and discover the world around them as well as to speak out and participate in events within their community, and world. Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. They develop the skills and confidence that they need to reach their potential - as students, colleagues, parents, friends and citizens - and become the young women that they want to be.
How this cause brings people in the community together
I think the community will grow from the new brownie pack, girls who are home schooled will mix with their friends from other schools, girls will add to the community by building a culture of acceptance and encouragement, within their peers. Girls who don't have many opportunities due to their location will be able to take advantage of many experiences others (in towns) take for granted.
