We want to upgrade our kitchen and toilet facilities in order to provide disabled access and an improved experience for all.
About this cause
We are the 6th Allerton Scout group. We give the young people of our community the opportunity to try new things. To stretch themselves and to get involved with the world around them. We actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make positive contributions to society.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will make the scout hut a much more appealing local venue. The local village hall has recently closed and left many clubs without a home. The current basic fascilities let what could be an even more useful space down. Once upgraded it will mean the hut is a useful and practical place for the community as a whole.
