We would like to purchase extra curricular activities/stationery equipment for our students to use during their break and lunch period.
About this cause
We are a secondary education establishment, with 1000 students ranging from Year 7 through to Year 13 (Sixth Form). The East Leake Academy PTA has been in operation for a year and a half. In that time we have put in place several fundraising events to raise money for various aspects/extra curricular activities etc. We are in desperate need of outdoor recreational equipment for our students to take part in during their break and lunchtime activities. This will help enormously with their social behaviour and also will help the students to form new friendships and learn to spend time with one another outside the classroom environment.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This will aid the community by improving their social skills by interactivity with one another in friendly activity using the said equipment. Everyone will gain from this, not only the ELA community but surrounding community who come to visit the Academy.
