We would like to buy resources to enable the school to set up and run forest school activities for the children and the local community.
About this cause
Appleton Thorn Primary School PTA’s main focus is to raise additional funds to help support the school in its provision of equipment and learning resources by organising events which both individuals and families can enjoy. The PTA is run solely by volunteer parents who work very closely with the school to ensure that any money spent is on the most appropriate items to enhance the learning environment and resources for the children.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The forest school will offer local children hands-on learning experiences in a natural environment, allowing them to explore and achieve in a different context. Linking with Arley Hall provides a basis for further evolving the forest school's ethos within the community and to other local schools, building stronger local connections, and sharing learning opportunities within our local environment.
