About this cause
Daisy Chain provides a haven for families affected by autism. Our charity addresses the needs of children on the autism spectrum & their families, providing a place for them to go to feel supported and understood without judgement. At Daisy Chain we work to remove anxiety by providing a safe, fun & friendly environment where children can be themselves. Parents and carers sometimes need an extra hand of support, respite or even just someone to talk to, whilst siblings can enjoy time to themselves and interact with other children in a similar situation. We provide social clubs, activity days and education for our young people through access to soft play, a petting farm, playground and other indoor and outdoor activities. Outdoor learning is important for education and wellbeing.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will benefit the local community by supporting families to affected by autism to access key support. It will improve the environment for the local community through recycling and educating young people to care for the area they live in. It will also improve education and skills through fun and innovative methods and provide new services available to young people and schools.
