About this cause

TCC is affiliated both to Middlesex Cricket and the ECB. TCC is a Premier League club, running 4 Saturday League teams, a Cup team and Club XI on Sundays. TCC has a Junior section with 335 children between ages 5-18. 135 children take part in the ECB All-Stars programme for 5-8 year-olds, 15 Colts teams are fielded for the older age groups. Bushy Park Girls CC (BPG CC) base practice sessions and matches for their older girls at TCC. The ground is used 4 afternoons a week all year by a local independent prep school, The Mall, for its school sport. In winter, Teddington Athletic Football Club (TAFC) use the ground at weekends for its junior teams' matches. I am part of the New Pavilion Committee, aiming to raise £1.5m for a much needed replacement for our 75+ year old current building.

How this cause brings people in the community together

4 changing rooms will allow more children, girls and women's teams to use the grounds simultaneously. The building will also be more accessible for the disabled. St Mary's Uni, The Mall School and Teddington AFC all use our facilities. With more space available, their activities will be more frequently accommodated. The extra space will allow classes run in conjunction with Age UK Richmond.
