We run family activity days for seriously unwell children and need money for venue hire, workshops, transport, caterers and entertainment.
About this cause
Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is a community-based hospice service providing support for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in central and north London and Hertsmere. Our central aims are to enable these children and young people to live life as fully as possible and to achieve their aspirations. Working across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Islington and Hertsmere, we also support families during their child’s life and help them face the future with hope after the death of their child and throughout bereavement.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Working closely with the wider community, Noah’s Ark aims to enable seriously unwell children to live a full life and achieve their aspirations. These events provide quality time together, creating memories to cherish in the time the children have left. They reduce isolation and are inclusive for all, helping to build a community and form friendships away from a medical environment.
