About this cause

Manorlands is a Sue Ryder hospice, based in Oxenhope. We’re here for people aged 18 + & treat more conditions than any other UK charity. We offer a range of support, including inpatient care, day services, care in the local community, physiotherapy, complementary therapy & bereavement services. Life limiting conditions affect all of us in some way; every Co-Op employee; customer, & supplier. As a national charity with services in your local community, Manorlands is a cause that will resonate with everyone. This level of care comes at a price that is becoming increasingly difficult to afford. We need your help to continue offering incredible care. The income needed to continue to provide services at & from Manorlands is £3.3m every year, of that we need to raise £2.1m in voluntary income.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Being voluntary funded we rely on people in our community to help us provide the specialist palliative care we are known for. Without Manorlands, patients and their families would not have access to the specialist care they need and would not be able to live their final days in the way they choose, this would affect the family afterwards during an already difficult time.
