We want to increase the frequency of our Health and Well-being Group to reach more young people aged 16-25 living in Greater Manchester.
About this cause
KIDS is a charity which supports over 11,000 disabled children, young people and their families. We support children with any disability from birth to 25 years of age. We offer our support to the whole family with the aim of giving disabled children a brighter future. KIDS West Midlands was opened in 1996 and has supported thousands of disabled young people and their families in communities across the region for over 20 years. Our focus is on empowering disabled children and young people to develop their skills and abilities in order to help them fulfil their potential. Our services are tailored to the needs of those in our local community to ensure we deliver support which makes a real difference.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our groups supports young disabled people from Stockport and across Greater Manchester. Additional funding will allow us to reach more disabled young people on a more frequent basis allowing us to provide much needed training and support.
