About this cause

Warrington Animal Welfare works in the community helping to highlight the importance of Microchipping and Neutering your pets. Sadly, every other call we take on our helpline and many of our messages on facebook are cries for help from owners in the Runcorn area. WAW would like funding so that we can run a large campaign across Runcorn (working with the local papers and local vets) to financially assist owners on low income or benefits to have their pets neutered thus, reducing the amount of stray, abandoned and unwanted pets in this area.

How this cause brings people in the community together

We take hundred of calls each week from the Runcorn area from owners desperately wanting to re-home their pets as they can no longer afford them or asking for our help as their pets have had litters. WAW have run many successful neutering campaigns in the Warrington, Widnes and St. Helens areas over the years and feel Runcorn is now at a crisis point thus we need to act now.
