About the Project
The support groups will be a valuable source of information, help and advice for people affected by HIV and their families. Research has shown that HIV support groups encourage disclosure, reduce stigma and discrimination, improve self-esteem, enhance coping skills and improve emotional well being. They will also improve awareness and understanding of the condition in their local communities.
