We need to pay for the decoration and refurbishment of the inside of the Claygate Youth Club building.
About this cause
CVYCA is an enabling charity which serves as an administrative, financial and legal entity in support of the young people who attend Claygate Youth Club. They are aged from 11 years to 18 years. Our objectives are to contribute to their physical, intellectual, social and moral well being. We run a safe meeting place for young people to experience an enjoyable, active social time, which aligns with the vision of our volunteers. The young people experience fun and friendship and this in turn engenders their sense of wellbeing, community spirit, social conscience and self respect. The activities provided include football, basketball, table tennis, swing-ball, computing, pool, air hockey, arts and crafts and such other activities as the young people require which are safe and open to all.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By investing in the well being of our young people by providing a welcoming and attractive youth club, we send a message that we care. A caring community benefits all, both young and old. It will also set a standard for the young people to emulate, respect and take care of. It will also attract more young people to attend the Youth Club as it will be even more desirable.
