We want to renovate the scout hall and buy new resources such as tables and chairs for the children to use.
About this cause
We are a scout group in Holyhead working with children aged between 6-14. We do a wide range of activities from arts and craft, camping, hiking, badge work, community work and much more. Our objective is to do the scout hall up where we meet as it is in need off a lot of TLC. We need new carpets through out, the walls inside and outside need plastering, and then the walls need painting to brighten the place up as at the minute any people think we are closed. We need new tables and chairs as our current ones are quite dated and we do not have enough to cater to all the children so they can see. We believe by improving the appearance we can attract a lot more children who do not even know about the group.
How this cause brings people in the community together
More children will be more attracted to join the scouting movement and learn new skills. The scout hall can be used for many different things such as, mum and baby groups, knit and natter groups, bridge club and much more.
