We want to provide a nourishing meal and transport those socially isolated and a venue for social interaction and entertainment.
About this cause
We help groups to Develop and give support and encouragement to local groups and organisations .We support jobseekers with IT Facilities and free use of telephone, accommodation seekers , we are ambassadors for local tourism , open and close the park and thermal spring each day, provide local information ,recycling material .We operate from a shop central in the village and are manned by local volunteers. We take bookings for the tennis courts . We are a not for profit organisation that endeavors to put life back into our community
How this cause brings people in the community together
We will be filling a social gap in the surrounding area . There are no day centres .There are activities locally but not if you are not able bodied and not able to get to them .there are people who are isolated because of dementia issues or other disabilities who rarely get out or meet other people . Bringing people out will increase self worth lift low moods and enable interaction with peers .
