We need to replace our old lighting with energy efficient panels and replace our old heating boiler with a new condensing boiler
About this cause
To provide and maintain a safe communal meeting place for all the residents of Evercreech and surrounding villages that don’t have their own village hall. The Hall also acts as the main emergency and evacuation centre in the parish. Our Mission Statement is:- Evercreech Village Hall Management Committee has a general duty to consider the following in the exercise of its functions:- A policy of Open Accessibility, Equal Opportunities (race, gender, sexual orientation, marital status and any disability), Health and Safety and Human Rights.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The brighter lighting will be better for everyone using the Hall, but particularly the older members of our community so they can see more clearly. The new boiler will heat up the Hall more quickly so people don't have to sit in their coats to start with. Additionally, the reduction in our bills will mean there is more money for maintenance of the Hall.
