About the Project
It will reduce demand on the NHS and other local support services (freeing up valuable time and resources for the whole community), and by acting early it will prevent children from developing poor mental health, behavioural problems or anti-social behaviour later. Parenting is a tough job for anyone, but it serves us all if there is good timely support when someone needs it.
About the Charity
Our vision is 'planting seeds of the future, fostering the spirit of the child'. Our core aim is 'reconnection': with ourselves, with others, and the planet we're a part of. Our core focus is on children, young people and families. Firstly, we provide Outdoor Learning and Nature Connection sessions for school children, helping build resilience and confidence and increasing knowledge of the natural world. Secondly, we provide events and sessions for local children and young people, and develop family support programmes to help support their well being.
