We would like to buy a sprung floor for our gymnastics club to be able to help our gymnasts develop their tumbling skills.
About this cause
We are a non for profit gymnastics club. We have been established for over 30 years and have 150 members aged 4 - 17. We have always run from school sports halls but after 10 years of campaigning have now signed a lease on our own premises. Due to being a pack away gym a lot of our kit is now worn and old. We would like to update our equipment and also get our dream sprung floor. With our new premises we will be able to hold more classes getting more children involved in the sport and also be able to offer more hours of training to our loyal gymnasts, who have stayed as members of our club even though we don't currently have the best facilities.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We are moving into new premises on order to be able to house a sprung floor as these need to be left out perminantly. With new premises we will be able to hold classes every evening which means we will be able to have more spaces for children wanting to get involved with the sport within our club. We also hope to run mum and toddler classes and also adult and pre school.
