We want to provide a free, easily accessible, one-to-one young people's counselling service available to all.
About this cause
Clouds CCS,founded 2007,provides FREE,Professional Counselling in East Doncaster.Clouds’ Mission is to offer easily accessible,one to one,Person Centred Counselling for all.Clouds offers c90 Client appointments weekly through three projects:A Bereavement Service,A Young Peoples Service(11-18yrs)and An Adult Service. Clouds works with a wide range of issues:Bereavement,Anxiety,Depression,Abuse(current and historical),Bullying,Anger,Self-Harm,Low Self-Esteem,and Suicide Ideation.Working at the Clients pace,encouraging,and supporting them to explore fully their issues,empowering and enabling them to move forward by finding their own solutions often improving family relationships,finding employment, training,Volunteering,leading to a better quality of life and building stronger Communities.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The Media has highlighted how under resourced existing services are for Young People, from accessibility to availability. There is a tremendous need for offering a Counselling Service to act as an early intervention, preventing issues spiralling out of control for the Young People in our local community. Clouds is looking after twenty Young People in the Practice, with sixteen on the waiting list.
