We would like to purchase a defibrillator for the community and hold an open evening to show people how to use it.
About this cause
We are a small village hall, on a weekly basis there is yoga, bingo and Zumba held for the community to enjoy. We have a coffee morning and lunch club. We would like to have youth club. At the moment we are trying to raise funds for a defibrillator for the village. We do a lot of fundraising for cancer research, air ambulance. The school also uses the hall.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We have people in the community this would benefit, from the elderly to some children who have breathing difficulties. Having a defibrillator available at all times will enable us to help quickly and safely, if we ever needed too.
