We want to continue our newsletter and develop an app to connect with younger residents and busy families.
About this cause
To further or benefit the Residents of Henbury, Brentry and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious, or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents. We provide a quarterly newsletter; which has just reached it's 10th anniversary, to 6,000 households, schools and other public places which keeps us in touch with all the residents. In a recent survey 71% of all residents found out what was going on in Henbury and Brentry through the newsletter.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The newsletter has been an invaluable source of information for the last 10 years and the residents; especially older more isolated ones, have come to expect our publication every quarter. Our project helps our local community stay connected and feel inclusive through a common love of our area with all the activities and history that it provides.
