About this cause
The Friends of Crofton Hammond Junior School (FOS) holds events, supports School functions and helps the school in a variety of ways. FOS organises many fundraising events. Most recently these have included: May Fair, Film Night, Family Bingo evenings, Discos and Christmas Bazaar. The School budget from the LEA covers buildings, teaching costs and curriculum needs, FOS aims to provide many items to support and to enhance learning, to give all pupils a fulfilling learning environment, with the right tools and equipment, both in the classroom and for outside learning.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will benefit the children of our community by promoting more active healthy lifestyles and choices. These tents can be put up quickly for lunchtimes, play-times or learning activities and will offer protection against the elements on our exposed field for sporting events. The construction toys will help engineers of the future and enable imaginations to blossom.
