Funding will pay for the cost of providing days out for Goodwick senior citizens.
About this cause
Goodwick Senior Citizens is a community group for individuals aged 65 and over living in Goodwick Pembrokeshire. The organisation helps individuals socialise by arranging the following activities on an annual basis Day out with a meal twice annually ( including coach expenses) Christmas Vouchers worth £4 per head to spend in local shops Christmas shopping trip. Funds for these activities at present come from members holding frequent coffee mornings and selling raffle tickets or local business donataions. Goodwick Senior Citizens would like the funds to arrange an additaional event to take members to a show or play.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The Senior Citizens group helps individuals over the age of 65 in the local community socialise with individuals of a similar age and also helps individuals living also mix with those in a similar position.
