About this cause
Ruby’s Fund is a fully inclusive sensory centre and social cafe for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, and their families and carers. Ruby's Fund run a timetable of events and activities. Children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, along with their family, carers and friends, often have difficulty finding safe, accessible places to have fun and socialise. The centre offers a safe, stimulating environment, giving individuals and groups the chance to explore and develop in an inclusive setting, which is also ideal for therapy, relaxation, education and most importantly friendship and fun.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Ruby's Fund runs a sensory centre for children with additional needs and disabilities and their families and carers. Centre users enjoy using the bubble tube, fibre optics, ball pool and sensory lighting. We run a variety of sessions and classes in the sensory room from one to one sessions to group sessions. We welcome children of all abilities and their families to enjoy our facilities.
