Emley Moor Riding for the Disabled

We want to buy a large horse to enable us to give more disabled people the opportunity to go horse riding.
About this cause
We provide horse riding sessions to adults and children with a wide variety of disabilities in and around the Emley Moor/ Huddersfield area. We ride from April to September 3 evenings per week. Our riders benefit in many different ways, such as improved balance, dexterity and co-ordination along with confidence and self achievement. Our aim is give the riders a fun horse riding experience that encourages them to push themselves to achieve their best.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project to purchase another horse will enable us to offer the experience of horse riding to more disabled people in our local area.
