We would like to decorate the hall to make it appealing to user groups and buy new kitchen utensils.
About this cause
We are a rural Community with poor transport links. It is challenging for residents to access a range of stimulating activities. We think it is very important to provide activities for local people on there doorstep. We have the Darby and Joan Club they meet twice a week. Yoga class and A children's street & Freestyle Dance class. The baby and Toddler group provides Parents/carers with a space to bring the children to help them socialise and learn to mix with other children. We also have a children's Arts and crafts class. Bravo a drama group for children aged 3 to 7. We also have a football team that uses the premises. We also have summer and Christmas fairs, and a children's Christmas party this always provides entertainment and food for the children.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We have a lovely space that is used by lots of different groups, and is hired for party's. The paint and trunking will make the space more appealing to people using the hall. The kitchen equipment is always needed by all our user groups.
