About this cause
Cylch Meithrin Pencoed is a Pre-School Educational setting based at the Old Clinic, Penprysg Road, Pencoed, CF35 6SS. We are a registered charity and a self-funded, non-profiting making organisation. We are NOT Privately owned. We are managed by a Voluntary Committee consisting of a Secretary, Chair Person and Treasurer. We offer sessional day care for up to 36 places for children aged from 2 to 5 years. The children are taught through six areas of learning: Personal and Social Development, Well-Being and Cultural Diversity. Mathematical Development Language, Literacy and Communication Skills. Knowledge and Understanding of the World. Creative Development. Physical Development.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Cylch Meithrin Pencoed would be able to ensure children have daily access to the outdoor space helping the setting deliver the Welsh Government Foundation Phase that puts a great emphasis on outdoor learning and physical play. This area of learning relates to the development of children’s body control and coordination of large movements, fine manipulative skills, spatial awareness and balance.
