About this cause
Stowford Friends, formerly known as the PTA raise funds to enhance the experience of all children from Stowford School from nursery to year 6. We raise funds for equipment, events and facilities. Stowford is a vibrant lively primary school with over 400 pupils. We aim to enable every child to develop into a happy, enthusiastic and responsible member of the community. We provide a stable, secure and disciplined environment where academic, personal and social potential is achieved by every child and the love of learning can be harnessed. We share a relentless pursuit of respect, excellence and friendship.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will help over 400 children and their families. We want our pupils to feel valued and involved in their community. For them to develop into happy, healthy and creative individuals with curious minds. If children become emotionally off track Thrive helps to understand their needs. Targeted strategies and activities are used to aid emotional development in a fun and creative way.
