We would like to enhance our outdoor provision, including canopies, to encourage children to explore and enjoy the outdoors.
About this cause
We are a registered charity providing Pre school care for children between the ages of 2 and 4+. We provide a varied range of activities and opportunities based around the Early Years Foundation Stage, which enables children to reach their full potential in a safe and caring environment. We are a small group with 11 long serving dedicated members of staff who are enthusiastic about children's learning and development. After over 40 years in our current premises we were given notice, fortunately we have found a new home in Wigton Moor Football Club, and have been busy working with the club to ensure that we are ready for our September opening.
How this cause brings people in the community together
As the only provider of its kind in the area ,we offer pre school education and child care for a wide range of families. We charge minimal fees for sessions not covered by the free Nursery entitlement. If we are able to develop our outdoor space we will continue to attract families to Wigton Moor Playschool, ensuring its long term survival for future generations.
