We hope to employ more staff to provide pregnancy choices counselling, post abortion counselling and support for pregnancy loss.
About this cause
Our aim is to provide a safe, impartial and caring environment for any woman/girl and their partner in need of support, guidance, advice or confidential counselling. For all pregnancy related crises or issues, without fear of being hurried, pressurised or judged. PCC also offers post abortion counselling and baby loss counselling. We provide counselling and support for those facing anxiety and depression within pregnancy. These services are offered to all living or working in the target area, without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions. We aim to make available relevant and accurate information regarding support services that will enable clients to feel informed, empowered and respected.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Pregnancy Crisis Care has experienced its busiest year yet, client numbers continue to grow. Referrers: GP surgeries, Plymouth Options, Derriford Hospital's Midwifery Team and Pregnancy Advisory Clinic, Plymouth Universities, Colleges and schools, Self-referring PCC is a fantastic example of how hard work can truly benefit the people of Plymouth.'
