We want to buy camping equipment to enable girls to be able to grow and develop through camping away from their home and family.
About this cause
Girlguiding gives a safe space for young girls to develop and grow to their full potential. Brownies is for girls aged 7 - 10 years old. We meet regularly during school term times but also do trips and holidays to help develop the girls further. Our objectives is for the girls to become confident and independent. It also is a great way for the girls to social outside of a school situation and make new friends.
How this cause brings people in the community together
When we have the camping equipment, we will be able to offer more camps in future years with different girls.
