About this cause
Rock FMs Cash for Kids mission is to help every child and young person live life to the full and achieve their full potential. Each year we hope to have thousands of pounds available for grants to children’s charities, individuals and many other causes throughout Lancashire. All the money is raised and distributed in Lancashire. We support children and young people under 18 who are disabled, disadvantaged or suffering from abuse or neglect. In 2016 we supported around 19,000 children in Lancashire.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our Mission Christmas appeal has grown massively over the last few years as there are more children and young people that need support and fewer places for the social workers and head teachers to approach for support. Many of the social workers that refer families have told us they don't know what they would do without the appeal. This appeal helps the local commuity and makes a real difference.
