We want to transform a rundown field into a play area for the church community, including fencing and concrete flags.
About this cause
We let girls come and just be young girls . Play together, learn life skills, we join in in the community , with older pensioners in the community we do a lot of craft with them learning them to sew, knit and make hot drinks, etc. Stuff parents won't let them do. . But we think there never to young to learn life skills . We have a very large back field at the hall. The girls would love to go out there. It's up to their hips in weeds and overgrown grass. It would be great to clear a part of the field for them to play out there. We have fund raised over the years, but never made enough money to make a start.
How this cause brings people in the community together
As there are user groups of all ages, it will be really good extension to the hall. The field is rather large, but I'm not thinking of making the whole area. It will make a good meeting place for uniformed groups being able to do barbecues to enjoy with friends and family.
