Dementia Friendly Community Church

About this cause

Being the only church in the rural villages of Curdworth, Wishaw and Middleton, besides religious services, we work closely with communities in serving elderly through our Post Bereavement Trauma Counselling groups (known as Friendship group); Dementia Friendly groups. We also provide services for young people by bringing them together once a month for games and other activities. We have various music clubs including children and adults besides choir. Church provides support to the communities regardless of different Christian traditions and different faiths. Though this is the Church of England church we had Roman Catholic Archbishop of Birmingham; Methodist Chair of Birmingham and other church leaders who have come and gave their talks in various occasions.
