We would love to have enough money to buy a minibus for days out and trips away. This would reduce costs,so more young people can take part.
About this cause
The Youth Club provides weekly run sessions for young people in the local community age 11-16. It is a volunteer run local project aimed at providing a safe environment for young people to socialise, but also for them to access an interesting and enriching programme of activities. As well as facilitating weekly sessions we organise days out, weekend camps and activities to stimulate and encourage the young people to have fun and also learn about themselves and other people.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The community would benefit seeing their young people in a safe environment, having fun but also accessing lots of activities. the youth club promotes a community spirit. The minibus would benefit the community as we would be open to other community groups using the vehicle when not needed by the Youth Club.
