Help us replace our old ceiling and install new light fittings in the scout hut, and improve the outside space.
About this cause
Young boys and girls in the local area. Give them the opportunity to experience being part of a team, to learn new skills, to give them confidence and encourage to take on challenges which help them pave the way for the future. We have regular scout camps both here and abroad where they are able to mix and make friends and learn about different customs and cultures, enhancing their perspective of the world in general. We aim to develop young scouts who will go on to be young leaders, possibly progress to higher grades in the scouting world, but most of all to be responsible adults and successful in their future careers.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will improve the overall facilities making it more attractive to young people to come into scouting benefitting the community as a whole.
