Tower Clock Bellingham Town Hall

We wish to replace the workings of the tower clock so it is up and running and giving an accurate time.
About this cause
Bellingham Town Hall is the hub of the local community and is run voluntarily by a management committee whose objectives are the upkeep and maintenance of the hall. As well as keeping the hall in good repair and order, dealing with any re-decoration or refurbishment, the committee hosts many fund raising events across the year, hires the hall out for theatrical performances, the local leek shows, public relations events, public meetings, parties, jumble sales, conferences and much much more. The hall is available for community use, for local people and for anyone or organisation outside of the community who have a use for the hall.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The Tower Clock is very much part of the community. It greets everyone, locals, people from further afield coming into our village, and all tourists, holiday makers and those passing through. It keeps time for everyone. It is an icon for our village.
