We would like to buy an outdoors climbing frame to develop the physical skills of disadvantaged children.
About this cause
We offer early years learning experiences and care for children and their families from the local community. We take children from the age of 2 years up until school age, we have a number of vulnerable 2 year olds attending the setting. We also have children with English as an Additional Language and with Special Educational needs. We support children in their learning and development, we help children to develop their social skills with their peers. We encourage children to accept each other as equals and to not discriminate against each other.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By offering children this opportunity we can ensure they are aware of risk assessing their own play experiences, in a controlled environment. By offering children these opportunities we can ensure the children will be less likely to take dangerous risks in later life, as research has shown in the past.
