About this cause
We provide education for approximately 225 children aged 4-11, providing an extensive programme of educational and recreational activity which are designed to contribute to the overall development and growth of our students in areas including academics, sport, music and the arts. In addition to the wide variety of subjects covered in the school's ciriculum, we also offer a variety of clubs, during lunch break, before and after school which offer further opportunities for play, learning and development almost all free of charge.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We want the children at our school and the SMC Oasis project to have access to good quality developmental play equipment to maximise their opportunities for improving fitness and social skills while playing together. Most of our community don't have access to sport facilities outside of school; we want an excellent offering at lunch play, for after school sports and to wider community groups.
