We'd like to buy equipment to support our scout group including tents and tables and make our entrance more disabled-friendly.
About this cause
We are a Scout Group that supports the local community. We have children ranging from 6 - 14 years old. We are requesting funds to enable us to purchase equipment to support all three sections, Beaver, Cubs and Scouts. We are looking to purchase a mess tent, tents, tables, benches and mess kitchen equipment, and Scout expedition equipment to encourage and develop their life skills. We also have a number of young people with special needs, we need to adapt our Scout hut to support them.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will enable the young people to develop confidence, teamwork, life skills and friendship.
