We have consulted with park users and want to purchase and install extra play equipment, specifically a large slide/structure.
About this cause
For the benefit of the inhabitants of Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex and the surrounding area. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life for the inhabitants of the area of benefit in particular but not exclusively by: A) The preservation, promotion, support and improvement of Hardie Park and its amenities. B) Establishing or secure the establishment of a community center and to maintain or manage or co-operate with any statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a center for activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of above.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The new equipment will attract more people/ local families to the park and encourage them to spend longer playing outdoors. This will benefit the community, improve health, fitness and well being. Our customers all tell us that they spend longer at the park now as we provide a facility / building that is run by volunteers, to use the toilets.
