We want to provide ongoing sessions for children affected by cancer including art, drama, counselling and outings.
About this cause
Where no child, young person or their family should face cancer, related illness or bereavement alone and will get the support they need during their journey and beyond. Team Jak provides practical and emotional support to children and young people with cancer and related illnesses, their family and friends and those bereaved.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Team Jak Foundation is a well known charity in West Lothian, many people followed Jak's journey whilst he tried incredibly hard to fight before loosing his battle in February 2015. Team Jak has already helped many families in the local area and there are so many in need of support. Team Jak also educate local schools in the area and provide support to the local childrens ward in Livingston.
