About this cause
Our organisation Rothesay Playgroup was set up in October 1969 as a parent and toddler club, Over the years this has progressed and we are now registered to take 52 children daily from the ages of 12 weeks old to 12 years old. We work very closely with Argyll and Bute council and we are listed to take 2 year, 3 year and 4 year old Early learning and childcare. We work closely Rothesay Social Work Department, from this we allocate free placements for children some under full time care to help vulnerable families on Bute. This ensures children’s visibility on the island in order to protect and safeguard Rothesay’s children.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Rothesay Playgroup has been in site since the 1960s, We offer care for children aged 12 weeks old to 12 years old in order to help parents within the community maintain jobs, We work with all agencies on Bute and provide rest bite care. Our project will help the community by ensuring better educational outcomes for all children who attend our setting and their families.
