We need new, exciting outdoor play equipment to encourage team building skills and exploration into spaces.
About this cause
We are a small but active PTA and registered Charity with the aims of: · Holding fundraising events to raise money to provide the extras for the children at the school · Promoting the school in a positive way · Creating a friendly community for parents and carers Short term goals (contributions to enriching school life for singular events) · Coach trips fees – swimming gala, enrichment days. · Christmas dinner for each child · Library books Medium term (legacy and enrichment) · Two interactive whiteboards for the classrooms Long term (legacy and enrichment) · Playground equipment We aim to support our small rural primary school where we can and we are asking for help reaching out long term goal of new playground equipment.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our project will give our local children the chance to go outside into our field and climb, run and learn through adventure therefore learning the wonder of being a child and without this we are missing a huge part of their learning. A large percentage of the school comes from the local town so have small gardens so to have the opportunity to play, exercise and bond is wonderful.
