Funds will help us provide social and recreational facilities for local Bilton and Harrogate residents.
About this cause
To provide social and recreational facilities for the local and Harrogate residents. We are a non-profit making organisation and all revenue secured through hall rental or ad-hoc donation is re-invested in improving our facilities. By striving to be a focal point within the community our objective is to promote the benefit of recreation and entertainment within the community. We offer classes and regular bookings of the hall which allows all in the community to participate. Unfortunately because of the size of the facilities we are having to turn regular bookings away, which we don't wish to do.
How this cause brings people in the community together
As a focal point for the community one of our greatest fears is that there may be residents who suffer from loneliness. By providing our facilities we hope to be able to tempt these people to come out and enjoy like minded company in the Centre, either through one of the many user groups activities or by joining in one of our own community projects (bingo, quiz nights, away days, open days etc).
