We want to provide coaching and training equipment for the young children of Usk community and the surrounding area.
About this cause
Provides the facilities for people of the community and surrounding areas to play Rugby. We run two senior sides and a mini section (Under 7 to Under 11). We provide qualified coaches to ensure that the players are all trained with the same ethos - to play a team sport, with the emphasis on skills and team spirit. We provide a family friendly environment in which the children can learn the skills required to play Rugby, a lot of these skills are transferable to other sports. We encourage children from a young age to participate, as it builds confidence of the person as well as keeping them active.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will provide a safe environment for the young people of Usk to enjoy the skills required to play a team sport. The parents will be safe in the knowledge that all coaches are trained and have completed a DBS check.
