We want to hold fundraising events throughout the year for all three of our schools, to meet various educational needs.
About this cause
We are the school committee that raise funds for the school. Our objective is to hold events throughout the year to provide extra funding for the school. In the past we have paid for playground equipment, lighting and stage for productions, iPads, sports equipment and clothing. We also have recently paid towards the garden in the early years area. This year our school joined with the local middle school and secondary school to become Alderwood. Funds are tighter than ever because of budget cuts. Our school is also taking on another class this year so we need to try and extend our playground for extra space . If we could have a chance to be nnominated this would be fantastic for our school which is the most local to the North Lane branch
How this cause brings people in the community together
I am hoping this year our summer fair will be a school carnival which we hope the community will back and also get involved in . Because our school range is from 4-16 years and most of the children are from the local community, we believe this would be a great way to all come together for a fabulous family event
