We need new flooring, lighting, kitchen, better heating, painting and a new updated CCTV system.
About this cause
WE are a Community run group with the main aim of keeping Kids/youths off the streets and away from crime and drugs we run several football teams and also do many events to raise money for sad and unfortunate local issues, just one instance was to do fun-day events to fund raise many thousands of pounds for the three young daughters that were left after there Mother Karina Menzies was killed by the Hit and run Van driver many others were also hurt in this incident. On a more happier note we run football coaching sessions at our local recreation field the Rec, which has many children/Youths involved from deprived background's and also many children/youths from different countries so our football teams are a very cultural but all get along amazingly.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We feel that by getting the community involved to refurbish the play-centre we will be able to get young/older people involved in something very positive creating a much better sense of inclusion. When the centre is refurbished we will be able to create employment and training opportunities by having a crèche through the day times, karate, and dance sessions in the evenings and a Saturday Café.
